See their website for more details.   The Adventure Fly Fishing All Season Jacket Its always a pleasure to see a really good idea come to fruition. More particularly when an individual against the odds, develops something which the bigger companies have overlooked or just have not got right. A recent example is the Adventure Fly fishing All-Season Vest-Jacket. It is a clever idea which basically combines a wet weather jacket with a fishing vest so it is not necessary to wear an extra waterproof layer under your vest. Although the company makes the point that the arms and lower sections can be removed to reveal just a fishing vest, I prefer to use it solely as wet/cold weather apparel. I have fished in a variety of weather and it has performed exceptionally well. Among the many excellent features, one pleasant surprise are the fleece lined hand warmers as side pockets. On cold days they have obviated the need for gloves which I find clumsy at the best of times. This image gives an idea of the configuration of the jacket in both vest and full jacket mode. The left side of the picture shows how much the jacket can be transformed from a simple fishing vest. However the ideas in the jacket don't just stop with arms zipped into a standard vest. It is much more. The designer has integrated drop down interchangeable fly trays, hidden pockets into which nippers and forceps can retract out of the way and waterproof pockets so contents won't get wet if one does wade deep. Furthermore the jacket also has additional features for someone who wants to hike into the mountains with an attached pack. This image gives a idea how the fisherman might be easily laden for a day trip with all equipment necessary for a great day. This is certainly a good idea which deserves consideration for the cold and/or wet weather fisherman. For More details click here
